Profile
Mr. Asch assists clients in resolving environmental and other matters, representing clients in litigation, including in pursuit of, and in defense of, multi-million dollar liabilities. These complex lawsuits often involve several parties and complicated procedural and substantive issues. Beyond litigation, Mr. Asch counsels his clients on climate change resiliency, cost recovery, regulatory compliance and permitting, administrative applications and appeals, and due diligence in complex corporate and real estate transactions. He also assists clients in Brownfields and redevelopment matters. Mr. Asch’s wide-ranging practice has provided him the opportunity to represent clients in federal and state court in matters involving environmental statutes such as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Recovery Act (CERLCA), and New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act (the Spill Act), among others.
